Honestly, I hated Mustang... he wasn't any better than the guys he was fighting.

I agree, there wasn't anything special about him. I remember being pissed off at him when I'd finished the manga because he defeated two homonculus without dying.

On topic.

1. Solf J. Kimblee; Most badass character I've ever seen. He is unique simply because there is no other character like him. And what he says makes sense when you think about it. His words really changed my view of the world.

"Look into the eyes of the people you kill, and never forget. Because they will never forget you."

2. King Bradley; His badassery is only second to Kimblee's. He pulled a Whitebeard before Whitebeard himself did it by tanking bullets, bulleting tanks and surviving fatal stabs, and still being able to fight Scar on equal grounds.
