ok I wanted to start this to see what you guys thought about it. It's all opinion, but you can use facts and other things to back it up I guess. Also if you think it is too powerful/not that powerful, give some speculations on how you think Itachi/Kakashi/Sasuke would be beaten. (That's going to be the fun part lol)
I think Sharingan is too powerful I mean it allows the user to see and copy his opponent's move as he does it making them almost untouchable, because they can dodge everything basically and get alot of jutsu without doing much. And then there is also the Mayenkyo, which I have no idea how you could possibly beat an opponent with that unless you had some Sharingan killer jutsu. I don't I just think it is too powerful.
I think Itachi maybe would be beaten by a fighter like Gai. Gai would finish him off too fast to fall into the genjutsu. I haven't thought of anything for Sasuke/Kakashi yet, so you guys give me some ideas on that.

As Gai said, in order to fight the Sharingan, you need to not look at the eyes... also, by doing multiple things at once, it is possible to confuse them a bit. And just plain Taijutsu at high levels puts you at a big advantage, as shown against Sasuke by Rock Lee before Part 1 of the Chuunin Exams.

That's true, but the only people that can do that effectively are Gai and Lee lol. Also, against Itachi, he can use his finger to cast a genjutsu, so you would only be able to look at his feet and not be able to see his hands for seals and jutsus.

The Magenkyu sharingan that Itachi has destroys his eyes the mroe he uses it it woud seem.

Yes, that's true, but he can use it when needed.
Also, the finger genjutsu wasn't really that amazing... someone like Sakura could dispell it. Naruto just isn't great against things like that. And remember, Itachi is an amazing ninja to start with, and the finger genjutsu doesn't have anything to do with his eyes.

Heh, simple: The Sharingan's blind spot is the back. The blind spot for uchihas is a lot bigger than the Hyuuga's.
Also; simply use bloodline stuff against the sharingan, they probably can't counter it.

People like Gai or Lee could dodge it somewhat but Im sure the sharingan user could still predict a majority of their movements. The fourth hockages technique might be one of the only techniques that could defeat Itachis sharingan... only problem is hes dead(why didnt Jiraiya teach Naruto something useful like that??). The only way to defeat the sharingan is to move faster than what the user can see...

the sharingan lets people copy jutsu but not right away
it seems like that for kakashi because thats how he uses his sharingan "copy ninja" kakashi...
plus being able to see whats coming doesnt mean that u can avoid/counter it as displayed by lee/sasuke
and sasuke and itachi are genius ninjas not every uchiha is as good as them

4got this in my earlier post...
the byakugan gives better insight then sharingan so neji/hinata should be able to see things before sasuke/itachi
so its not the sharingan thats overpowered its basically every kekkei genkai
