@Ajh77 CC had tons of moments this arc alone at this point I feel people are just going to complain about everything that doesn't go the way they want it to.

CC absorbing shinokuni was a last desperate attempt that never guaranteed that he would suddenly become a beast. Moria didn't with his shadows why would CC?

With Kinemon becoming a victim of Shinokuni, I guess we can assume that everyone effected by it will be saved (some time limit withing which they can survive I guess). Though I wonder how Brook saved him from the gas and brought him out. I didn't think he could lift whole bodies in his ghost form.

I'm pretty sure he is not affected by the smoke in the first place. Gas doesn't affect non living, just like how the sleeping gas that took everyone on the ship was out didn't affect him.
