Moving to a new forum probably has its' downsides though, I guess we'd all start from 0 posts again. How fun.

I know.
But these problems might persist.

As long as I retain my ct i'd be ok with it somewhat...but then again...
I have been on that site for so long, would be sad to leave it because of this.

Yea, that is losing quite a bit of history I'd imagine. Also, I'm sure we'd all retain our CTs, well, those who have'em.
@Insane: True, if worst comes to worst. Would be nice if all the info could simply be transferred over. I'm not sure if that's possible, I'm not knowledgeable on such things.

greg said he was planning on moving threads from omf to the new site so it would be less of a fresh start and more of an upgrade. Assuming he can do that. If that's the case then maybe your CT will come along as well

Mhm, I'm sure CT's a simpler matter. But that's good to hear about the threads and what not, since that's the core of the forum anyway.

This forum has reputation system huh?

The thing that will degrade would be the activity on the forum, not a LOT of posters will move on, just the most active.

That's the main problem.
