my favorite character is Toph. she can bend metal. nobody else can do that. not even the avatar.

That metal bending business is up in the air really. Bumi, the best earthbender, can bend earth without touching it. That's something no one else can do as well.

I know what you mean, but so far, only Toph is confirmed to be able to bend metal. She is the best earth bender in the world. For sure.

Even with that, Bumi's powers are superior to hers in every aspect but metal. While she can do metal bending, she cannot bend without touching earth/metal- which Bumi can. So you can't say metal bending makes her better. Bumi has been more impressive anyway, he is the best earthbender in the world. Toph is an amazing prodigy nonetheless.

well to be fair Toph can't see what she's bending so it'd be a lot harder for her to do it without touching it
But yeah, Bumi is better
