But doesnt using Katon constitute a long range fighter i think sasuke is kind of all around he can use taijutsu(close range) and he also knows many other long range ninjutsu

Just looking at the chapter, Idk how you can think that Sasuke is going to win this easily, besides Tobi, who always says stuff like that, deidara didn't say I have no chance in hell of winning. Neither of them, also, did not say "OMG, he is at a level at Itachi". None of that was said, also Deidara wasn't using his strongest bombs and was fighting a short range battle with him, where he is a long range fight. I will say they underestimated Sasuke, but I am not going to say that Sasuke is going to win this like its nothing. I can still see Deidara getting away from this fight too and running back to the Akat hideout. Alot of you guys make Sasuke out to be a god. Its pretty annoying lol.

Also, katon is really I think medium range. Sasuke is a more medium to short range fighter.

Crazy, keep in mind that Kakashi, who is at this point no longer as powerful as Sasuke (which is somewhat foreshadowed by Deidara's comparison of Sasukes abilities with Kakashi's in his thoughts) and that Kakashi neary killed Deidara. I think that Saskuke will kill him, and he could already be dead. Its pretty much certain though that Deidara isnt going to be finishing this fight, that was a pretty big explosion when he fell on his own mines. Hes definitely not in fighting shape anymore and possibly dead.

Did you notice what almost beat Deidara, Kaleidoscope sharingan, so what you are saying really doesn't make sense. Also, the only thing he mentioned was the extent of the chakra reconstition or w/e for chidori, as I saw. Basing it off one move isn't that great. Deidara is smart, I can't see him dying in two chapters just like that. Sasuke has already sacrificed his CS2 wing, so if Deidara does come back, it will be an even fight.
