i think that the legend about the nine monsters is good, i mean cmon how could we have known that the the number1 unpredictable ninja would carry the strongest monster of all

Even kishi strays from the nine tailed demon japanese story thing... So we cant go by thoses japanese myths because he doesnt copy them completely...

He uses a lot of the Japanese legends in Naruto.. For example, The Legend of Jiraiya. He simply uses elements from the legends into Naruto. Its interesting to say the least. I never even knew Jiraiya was a legend.
